Our mission
Navette Nature is a company specialising in recreational transport. Founded in 2015, our company pursues its mandate of accessibility, preservation and environmental protection. Our aim is to make green spaces accessible to people without cars. For those who own one, we invite them to discover our service. We cherish our touring community, already well aware of the value of our natural heritage, to minimise their carbon footprint with us. From departure to return, we create caring spaces for people who share the pleasure of being outdoors. We're proud to create places where people can meet, share and connect. Discovering new landscapes is for everyone: whether the hike represents the praise of slowness or the opportunity to surpass oneself!
Our story
Also known as NANA, the word formed from "Navette" and "Nature" was used at the time by co-founders Sarah Bernard-Lacaille and Catherine Lefebvre as a form of protest; a way of deconstructing the stereotype of masculinity associated with the transport sector. Although our service is not exclusively for women, we are proud to create a space where they feel comfortable and safe.
OUR COMMITMENT
With Tourisme Montréal and Tourisme Durable Québec, we are actively helping to transform the province in a sustainable and responsible way, by raising awareness and developing intermodality.
Navette Nature invests 1% of its turnover in a fund dedicated to preserving Quebec's ecosystems and combating climate change. A portion of these funds is paid directly into the member companies of Aventure Écotourisme Québec, helping them to adopt best practices in sustainable development. The association with the Fonds Plein Air 1% pour la planète aims to make the province one of the world's leading eco-responsible destinations.
