A must to discover

Parc-nature du Cap-Saint-Jacques is Montréal’s largest park. Located on the western part of the island, it is bordered by the Lac des Deux Montagnes and the Rivière des Prairies. The park’s many paths offer magnificent views of the water.

Parc-nature du Cap-Saint-Jacques, Montréal’s largest park, spans an area of 330 hectares  It is home to a sugar shack, two heated chalets and an organic farm, among other things. You can indulge in many activities there throughout the year: swimming, cycling, camping, ledding, snowshoeing and hiking (12km), cross-country skiing (14km) and fatbiking (6.5km). Outdoor aficionados will appreciate the on-site equipment rental service. As you traverse the park, keep an eye out for its historic buildings: the Thomas-Brunet house and Château Gohier.

15 juin : Journée ouverture de la plage - Cap sur l'été -  12h à 16h. Plusieurs activités
Tous les samedis d'aout : Activités de rabaska (payantes), inscription requise- 11h30 et 13h30
 
Bois-de-Liesse
16 juin : Tournée de la pêche - Initiation à la pêche, secteur Péninsule, 9h à 12h
14 juillet : Bougeons en nature - Plusieurs activités actives dont fatbike (inscription requise)-  10h à 14h
8 septembre : Animation d'oiseau de proie - Secteur Pitfield, 13h à 16h
 
Pointe-aux-Prairies
31 août : Randonnées guidées - Inscription requise, 10h à 11h30 (réservée aux 65 ans et plus) et 14h à 15h30 
14 septembre : Animation d'oiseau de proie et événement sur les oiseaux - Secteur des Marais - 10h à 14h
12 octobre : Aucune activité
 

Please note that there is access fees to be paid on site to access the beach:

- Children 0 to 5 years old : Free
- Children 6 to 17 years old : 4,40$
- Adults 18 to 59 years old : 5,90$
- Adults 60 and over : 4,40$
- Families (2 adults + 3 children of 17 years or younger) : 19,20$
