Parc national des Grands-Jardins
Grands-Jardins
From 2/7/26, 8:30 AM to 2/7/26, 6:30 PM
Even in the early 20th century, the region was renowned for its incredible fishing grounds. Struck by the carpets of lichen and the northern vegetation, exceptional at this latitude, people gave it the name of Grands-Jardins. Today, the Parc national des Grands-Jardins is still frequented by anglers, but also by hikers, campers and holidaymakers. This national park has the privilege of being one of the core areas of the Charlevoix Biosphere Reserve, a status granted to the region by UNESCO.
