Parc national des Grands-Jardins
Grands-Jardins
From 2/3/24, 9:00 AM to 2/3/24, 7:00 PM
Even in the early 20th century, the region was renowned for its incredible fishing grounds. Struck by the carpets of lichen and the northern vegetation, exceptional at this latitude, people gave it the name of Grands-Jardins. Today, the Parc national des Grands-Jardins is still frequented by anglers, but also by hikers, campers and holidaymakers. This national park has the privilege of being one of the core areas of the Charlevoix Biosphere Reserve, a status granted to the region by UNESCO.
Schedule for the day :
9am: departure from Université de Laval, Pavillon Charles-De Koninck
9.15am: stop at the Centre infotouriste de Québec

N.B. Due to the Carnaval de Québec taking place on the day of the outing, the shuttle won’t stop at the Quebec Infotourist Center on the way back. However, the morning itinerary isn’t affected; departure of the shuttle will still be from Laval University and then stop at the Quebec Infotourist Center as planned.
